Happy Lunar New Year! This has always been one of my favourite festivities. This year's CNY isn't much different from the past years'. Same old people, same old places. Routine, but perhaps comfort can be found in this routine too - knowing that nothing much has changed since a year ago. Although there are people I'd rather not waste time to visit, I will still do it. Personal reasons.
Somehow, amidst all the festive joy, I am looking forward to school resuming on Thursday. Am I mad?! School resuming = looming onset of FOUR tests = less time to study = ... you get the idea. I must be mad. :\ Maybe it's because I feel cooped up, having to go according to the schedule of others (i.e., parents) during this CNY that's making me wanna break free. It's been nothing but a rush to point A, B, C (etc) these two days. But it's still been a good CNY. :)
Earlier tonight, we had dinner at my grandmother's place and she asked me if I had music classes in university! Hahahah. I told her, we only had that in primary and secondary school but she didn't seem to understand what I said and proceeded to ask me if I had sports lessons (P.E. class) in uni. :D
Oh and tonight, I made many interesting discoveries. Singapore is really really really small. That's all I have to say. :D
It all started when I went to google about this BS that I really like which has been missing in action lately. I wanted to know what happened to it and I found the BS' owner's personal blog and read a few entries that caught me by surprise. Yes, Singapore is really small. Here, six degrees of separation doesn't exist. It's more like two. Sometimes, one. ;)
Tuesday might see R and I visiting the SPCA!
