I'm washing my hands, washing my hands off it all. I might once (long ago) have been responsible but not anymore. I'm detaching myself, I'm walking away. I'm not a fool and that's the truth.
Yes, that's the truth, friend. It's been so long, nothing anybody does helps, what's there left to do? I really don't know anymore. Maybe the best thing you could do is to listen. Well, the other best thing to do now is to move on with life. Major cleanup, remember? ;)
Nobody likes to be made use of and nobody should be made use of.
It's one of those lessons in life.
Nobody should be taken for granted, but we take people for granted ALL the time.
After swallowing all my emotions all these while, I have decided that enough is enough. We cannot help those who refuse to be helped.
If we keep doing what we keep doing, I'm afraid we're gonna end up lonely, lonely, loooonely people. Because one by one, people will leave.
